Davis came running up to me this morning and gave me a tight squeeze and said, "mommy, mommy, mommy I love you cuz you adopted me."
It has never occured to me that he would think that he was adopted as well... so, we had a quick discussion on different ways children come into families.

ReplyDeleteIf only everyone would realize that there really is NO difference in feelings towards adopted and biological kids, maybe so many kids would not need homes.
That is so sweet Melanie! You and I know so well there is NO difference between the love for a biological and adopted child. I think it is so sweet your son doesn't see or feel the difference either! :) Tracie
