Day 3 - I can't believe today is the day - stay tuned

Hi, We had a great nights sleep....in fact, Mckenzie is still sleeping. Hopefully she will feel better today. I dreamt of Lili and can't wait to see her today. Please pray for us when you go to bed. I hope I am able to post in Nanchang. I have been told it is difficult and some can not figure it out or do it.
Reese, I hope your pinewood derby car turned out really cool. I can't wait to see it - it sounds like you planned out an amazing car. I wish I could be there to watch your derby. Make sure you video tape it for me.
Going to get ready to leave... here we go!!! ( I am posting more photos from day 2 - they are photos from the camera that Kara in our group let me borrow to me after our batteries died)
Oh, I'm excited (stupid, I know) but I will be able to check all of my luggage in on China Southern. Each bag or group of bags can only weigh 44 lbs... my big on is right under this and then the other 2 together are under 44 lbs - this will make things easier.
And (photos) i loved the way they repair bldgs...amazing Luckily there are 9,999 blds in the Forbidden City so even though many were under construction we were still able to see many not.

  1. Hooray Melanie!
I can't wait to see sweet little Lili in your arms! I'm so happy for you! Enjoy the moments, and try not to feel guilty. I know it is such crazy, hard timing, but I'm absolutely sure Ryan would have wanted you to enjoy this time with all of your heart :)

  3. Your children are doing fine and are so incredibly cute. We took Mei to Lexi's basketball game today and when we walked outside of our house, Mei said, "It smells like moo-moos." And sure enough it did; they moved some cows over into a pasture near ours. She was really interested in them. Of course we have been feeding her full of treats (donuts, gummy bears, and a 3 Musketeer bar at the game); she should be a lot of fun for Scott this evening... :)

Also, after Lexi's game, Mei touched Lexi's head and said, "Your head is sweaty; you must be tired." So funny...

Davis and Reese spent a lot of time playing with Cole and Nick. How fun to see them play... We have so enjoyed being able to spend time with them and can hardly wait to spend time with Lili too... :)
